In the morning we visit the ancient city of Stobi, where we have a tour around its ruins accompanied by a local guide. Stobi has deep history, started by ancient Macedonian tribes, with the main part of the archeological site showing the Roman period, where it was the capital of Roman Macedonia. Located next to the archeological site, one of the biggest wineries in Macedonia, Stobi winery. We will visit its rolling hills with never ending vineyards and learn about the charming Museum of Wine. As part of the wine tour, we continue into the wine cellar and learn more about the process of production of these wines under the assistance of professional sommeliers. We then have wine tasting and lunch in its unique restaurant with delicious traditional Macedonian food and wine. After lunch you can purchase any wine, after which we will head back to Skopje and the wine tour comes to an end.
